Ching Li 莉 莉 (1945-2017)

H Ching Li (Jing Li) γεννήθηκε στις 29 Οκτωβρίου 1945  στην ηπειρωτική Κίνα, μεγάλωσε στην Ταϊβάν και μετακόμισε στο Χονγκ Κονγκ όταν ήταν 21 ετών. Ο πατέρας της ήταν ο Ching Miao διάσημος ηθοποιός στο  Shaw Brothers Studio.
Το 1967 προσχώρησε στο Shaw Brothers Studio και γρήγορα έγινε ένα λαμπερό αστέρι.
Είχε την φυσική εμφάνιση κατάλληλη για ταινίες εποχής και σύγχρονες, σπάνιο στοιχείο για τους ηθοποιούς του Χονγκ Κονγκ, έγινε ιδιαίτερα δημοφιλή ηθοποιός του Χονγκ Κονγκ τη δεκαετία του 1970.  Εμφανίστηκε σε περισσότερες από 60 ταινίες, κυρίως από το Shaw Brothers Studio.
Το 1969 κέρδισε το βραβείο "most promising actress" στα βραβεία Golden Horse.
Η Ching αποχώρησε από την ενεργή δράση το 1983.
Πέθανε στις 9 Δεκεμβρίου 2017.
