Danny Lee Sau-yin 李修賢
Ο Danny Lee γεννήθηκε στις 6 Αυγούστου 1952 στην Σαγκάη, ενώ ολοκλήρωσε το γυμνάσιο προσπάθησε να εισέλθει στην αστυνομική ακαδημία αλλά δεν μπόρεσε να ολοκληρώσει τα μαθήματα. Στη συνέχεια, αποφάσισε να συνεχίσει μια καριέρα στον κινηματογράφο.
Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του με ταινίες τους Shaw Brothers Studio όπως "River of Fury" (1973), "The Super Inframan" (1975). Μετά τον θάνατο του Bruce Lee πρωταγωνίστησε στην ταινία "Bruce Lee and I" (1975) μαζί με την Betty Ting Pei.
To 1979 με την ταινία "The Brothers" (1979) άρχισε να ασχολείται με ταινίες εγκλήματος παίζοντας κυρίως ρόλους αστυνομικών. Στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1970 αποφάσισε να δημιουργήσει την δική του εταιρεία παραγωγής. Μία από τις πρώτες ταινίες της εταιρείας του ήταν το "The Executor" (1981) όπου ο Lee συμπρωταγωνιστεί για πρώτη φορά με το μελλοντικό αστέρι Chow Yun Fat.
Το 1987 ίδρυσε τη δεύτερη κινηματογραφική του εταιρεία, την Magnum Films.
Εκτός από ηθοποιός του Χονγκ Κονγκ και παραγωγός ταινιών είναι σεναριογράφος, σκηνοθέτης, σκηνοθέτης δράσης και παρουσιαστής. Επίσης είναι γνωστός για τη συχνή απεικόνιση αστυνομικών του Χονγκ Κονγκ σε ταινίες όπως το "Law With Two Phases" (1984), "The Killer" (1989) και "The Untold Story" (1993).
Το 1984 Κέρδισε το βραβείο του Καλύτερου ηθοποιού στα Βραβεία Golden Horse.
