O Lung Fei γεννήθηκε στις 22 Ιανουαρίου 1943 στην Ταϊβάν, το πραγματικό του όνομα είναι Wong Fei-Lung. Εμφανίστηκε σε έναν πολύ μεγάλο αριθμό ταινιών κυρίως πολεμικών τεχνών του Χονγκ Κονγκ, της Ταϊβάν αλλά και σε άλλες αγορές της Ασίας. Ήταν γνωστός για τις ερμηνείες του ως κακοποιός με παχιά γενειάδα ή μουστάκι.
Έχει εμφανιστεί σε πάνω από 150 ταινίες πολεμικών τεχνών και Bruceploitation. Εκτός από ηθοποιός έχει εργαστεί ως σκηνοθέτης αλλά και σκηνοθέτης σκηνών δράσης.

Έχει συνεργαστεί σε αρκετές ταινίες κουνγκ φου με τον Jimmy Wang Yu και σε αρκετές ταινίες Bruceploitation με τον Ho Chung Tao (Bruce Li).
Στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 1990 αποχώρησε από την δράση μετά από 20 χρόνια. Από τότε έχει κάνει μόνο μικρές εμφανίσεις στην ταινία και την τηλεόραση.
